Jodi Ferguson is a dual UK/US citizen and an award winning filmmaker.
Her debut western short “The Bountress” garnered significant recognition, earning multiple festival awards including “Director’s Choice”.
Her films have been well received at festivals, winning multiple awards for “Best Short”, and other accolades including “Best Director”. Her work has been featured on CBS & ESPN.
After spending years in TV production (The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Magnum P.I, Major Crimes) Jodi has gone on to direct narrative films, music videos, commercials and documentaries; with a particular draw to narrative projects that create impact and inspire change.
A lifelong competitive equestrian and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, some themes of her recent work include: foster care youth, childhood dementia (funded by Alzheimer’s Scotland), mental health and women’s education.
After directing a pilot in 2025, Jodi is now in development on her first feature film Desert Heat and plans to shoot in summer 2026.
